Under the Re Banding do you change the system type? Using Motorola Type 2 800 MHz Standard now.

For the Uniden radios (BCD396XT), The "System Type" should be Mot Type II/ P25, and the "Site Type" should be Mot Custom/Reband Type II
Other radios should have something similar to choose from that says Custom band plan

Well in running Unitrunker, I have noticed that the system (troop d reband) is only using 3 frequencies on a regular basis. I have also notice and suspect it to be splinter 868.3875. I have only seen 851.7125 a couple of times and not seen 852.5875 at all.

Hi all,
As of about 1530 today, Zone 4 (NW CT) is operating on its new rebanded frequencies. Reception is loud and clear on a Pro-96. Happy scanning.

You may see that they are on the Alternate Control Channel, expect the last channel to get finished and the entire Zone to be done shortly.

Thanks to all the advise and postings I have both my 396t's up and running. Used ARC396 software stepped down all frequencies by 15MHz , followed the band plan settings listed in a few post back. I am hearing C,D,E & K loud and clear.

The way to check and see if it is trunktracking the 851.7125 & 852.5875 channels (rarely used due to it being such a quiet zone) is to put one in conventional mode and sit on 851.7125 (first of the two in the rotation). When it picks up traffic, keep hitting scan on the trunktracking one until you hear the same traffic. If you match the voices up, one in conventional mode and one trunktracking, it is working fine.

Also from what I can tell, site 7 (troop d) is only using 4 channels now. Also might add that this site is about 5 miles from the Mass border so it might not need the channels with another site not that far from it.
