Re: CPU firmware and DSP

It's been a while since I have posted, but I just need to know something :

If I do a full hard reset on the PSR600 and restore it back to factory do I need to re-upload the firmware? Currently it is showing that I have the latest DSP and CPU firmware after 2 hard resets.

Thanks

No, firmware is unchanged when doing a hard reset. There is a key combination that will restore the DSP firmware to it's original factory version, but I don't think that's the reset you're doing.

Thanks Mike,

Was just reading the manual and I see the other DSP reset that you are talking about and no I have not tried that. Having a horrible time decoding the Wash Simulcast. Pro96com is perfect(because its just seeing data) but when I try to listen I hear every other word. Decoding my closest tower at about 99%.

Going to raise the yagi up higher today, not that it will matter but going to anyway. Grrrrrr...

Try turning the yagi in a different direction, it might do better...
