Good Morning from the U K,
Hi Guys wonder if you can help. I have a mains adaptor( 2 Pin into 3 pin UK Plug) and that works fine - I did have a cigarette cable power lead also but that's decided to go missing.
I have seen advertised a data cable for the 3500 that has the small plug for radio (not the 12v socket) and a USB on the other end - My new car has USB sockets all over , so my question is will using the data lead in the cars USB socket , will that power the radio the same as the 12v cigarette socket and lead would ? I understand it may not charge and suitable batteries in the scanner , but will data lead work in the car ?
