Re: Jackson Twp. - Ocean County Frequency Changes?

Can someone please confirm or deny the following for Jackson Township, Ocean County?

Police 1: 501.9125 P-25 NAC 2F3 (Call Sign: KNP856)

Police 2: 501.2875 P-25 NAC 2F3 (Call Sign: KNP856)

Police 3: 460.2375 FM (Call Sign: WPAJ314)

Police 4: 460.4625 FM (Call Sign: WPAJ314)

These frequencies were submitted to the database on several occasions; however, last I had heard and knew, Jackson Township was still utilizing their Motorola SmartZone trunking system, which two of these frequencies belonged to under a different FCC call sign.

The second two frequencies are low power repeaters, perhaps used for RD-LAP data or talk-around use.

We'd like to confirm these with additional detail before making changes to the database.

Thanks,

Jerry - W2GLD

Gerry - these two are now part of the smartzone trunk system but they
also have these same two as conventional backup repeaters should the
trunk system go out of service. I do not know what the other two freqs
are used for.

Police 1: 501.9125 P-25 NAC 2F3 (Call Sign: KNP856)

Police 2: 501.2875 P-25 NAC 2F3 (Call Sign: KNP856)

501.9125 is incorrect. Jackson Twp. does not hold a license for that frequency.. The correct frequency under the call sign KNP856 is 500.9125.

yes - sorry i missed that. it is indeed 500.9125 and in the backup role
they serve as conventional analog. The CTCSS should be 156.7 but if
I am wrong please someone correct me.
