I have noticed these talkgroups on the old Summit County TRS and on the M.A.R.C.S. IP TRS. Does anybody know what MAC and MERC stand for? Thanks.

MAC = Mutual Aid Channel
MERC = Major Emergency Regional Communications

MAC are daily interoperable talkgroups managed by the SO. MERC are only used if EMA activates the EOC.
