The system I had mentioned about is the new trunking set-up for the De Beers Mine Project and NOT a new set-up for the Timmins Police Service. If you wish, you can travel to Attawapiskat to listen to it
Apparently they were testing the system in Timmins as it is their ERT system for security !

Didn't a previous post of yours say that a Motorola tech told you all about the system or some such?

Yes, but apparently the new radio system to be put into place isn't built yet. He misunderstood me when I asked him what the ERT Channel was. He then explained to me that they were testing the DeBeers trunked system for the Diamond Mine Project, which is nothing to do with the new police radio system yet to be built.

Why is this "new system" so mysterious? Doesn't the city have to approve this stuff? Where are the public records?
