On the Military Mode-S website, RCH228 was last seen over Cornwall, UK, at 2140 GMT 2010-05-02, a C17A, reg 04-4128. Airliners.net implies that this acft is from McGwire AFB.

I hear the "Reach xxx" calls overhead some what regularly contacting Moncton Center, are these air tankers/refuelers? Or just regular overseas flights by the AF?

Reach flights can be either regular military airlift or air tankers, according to the logs on my RadarBox. I don't know if it's the same in Moncton.
