For a long time, we've had 157.5975 listed as a dispatch frequency for CALSTAR 2 thru 7 using various DPL tones. Looking at the Private Air Ambulance database page, I notice that each of these "dispatch" frequencies matches up with one of the "repeater" frequencies listed further down, but with the input/output reversed:
CALSTAR 2 - Mt Chual
CALSTAR 3 - Sutter Buttes
CALSTAR 4 - San Hedrin
CALSTAR 5 - Mt Toro
CALSTAR 6 - Slide Mtn
CALSTAR 7 - Santa Ynez
My question is, should the "dispatch" frequencies be listed at all, or just the "repeater" frequencies? For anyone near one of these CALSTAR bases, is there a repeater at the base broadcasting on 157.5975? Or is that just the input frequency for the nearby mountaintop repeater?
