RealPro-433 Six Flags New England

Hello, I am new to the site and today purchased a realpro 433 at radio shack. This is my first police scanner purchase since I bought the realPro 2020. I live in Suffield and was looking forward to listening to the Six Flags New England frequencies. After i punched the frequencies into the scanner, I listened for an hour without picking up a signal. My question is has anybody else have this problem with the Six flags frequencies?

they might have a low power repeater, you may have to be close to the park to listen to them, how far is suffield from six flags?

Six Flags New England has a LTR Trunked system and some regular frequencies.

I would think that you would have to be close in order to hear them.
I was up that way last year for the Big E in September and did not hear anything, then again that is off season for the amusement park.

with a directional antenna, I can barely hear SixFlags from Granby.
You can do LTR with that scanner so read up and program it as a LTR trunked system and try that.
If you have entered the freqs conventionally and still cannot hear the traffic or at least some keyups every 10 seconds, you may be out of luck.
