Hi everyone. I have a uniden BCT15 and just today discovered the rebanding. Ive read through this thread on how to set my scanner up, but can't really make much sense of it (still a pretty novice user). I am using the ARC15PRO software, and used the online service to program the new trunk system... is that all i need to do, or are there additional steps?

Thanks!

Make sure your ARC15 is the latest version. Look in the ARC trunk system parameters for each system and choose custom bandplan or the rebanded option see image below.

Also Check the Wiki on this web site, make sure you have the latest firmware 1.06.00 for the BC15.
BCT15FirmwareUpdate < UnidenMan4 < TWiki

Then create a Motorola 800 Custom Band Plan (Rebanding)

1. In the Site setting menu, select Edit Band Plan.
2. Select the band plan entry to edit.
3. Set each of the following entries for the band plan:
* Set Base Freq (Upper and Lower)
* Set Offset
* Set Spacing

For standard rebanded systems, you need to set Band Plan 1 and Band Plan 2 as:

Band Plan Base Freq (Lower) Base Freq (Upper) Offset Polarity Spacing
1 851.0250MHz 854.0000MHz 440 + 25 kHz
2 851.0125MHz 868.9875MHz 0 + 25 kHz

I can't get my Uniden 396xt to "hear" anything on the new reband channels. I followed the instructions here. I have to manually enter all 11 frequencies. Then I did a Custom Band Plan following the Lower and Upper Freq's. I still hear zilch.

Any suggestions. My old system with Roseville worked fine until this change. So, it's not the radio. The 396xt has everything needed to monitor this system.

Thx

Nevermind. It's working now. The reception is much poorer on the Rebanded system. That is the problem. I wonder why it is? Works when I'm closer to Roseville.

following earlier conversation (this thread spread out to a couple different topics)

Right now.....

CHPD T1 is patched with Roseville PD 1 for 5150 in downtown Roseville

So this means CHPD (SRRCS) dispatch has patch capabilities with Roseville TRS
This is NOT via the Comm Link - This is a direct patch via a SRRCS dispatch console.

I had a conversation with a CHPD dispatcher back a few weeks ago and he said they do have a stand alone Roseville PD radio in the radio room at CHPD that is on the dispatch console.
