I believe DE will start late this year. Listen for a control channel on 853.2125 in NCC. (853.900 in Kent) When that goes active then I'll start getting interested.

All channels should just move down 15Mhz.

I was born in Ill but can't pick them up from here.

The word circulating through the volunteer fire companies is July. However, a search of the FCC database does not show any licenses or pending applications for rebanded frequencies.
