I'm going to be working in and around Charleston over the next couple weeks...can someone tell me if the Motorola trunked, public safety systems in Beaufort, Charleston, and Georgetown counties have been rebanded?

Thanks!

Beaufort is still the same but is in the process of a faux rebanding as far as the public goes. Right now there are six new frequences (lost my full sheet at the moment, but will be posted when it settles down) and Some testing of a P-25 system, however all TG's remain the same. I am assuming the frequency shift has something to do with going P-25 and calling a new system rebanding. more in a PM.

CC is not rotating everyday as it has since 1990. Right now CC seems to be 857.2125 or 857.4375.

.Fire Page out are Beaufort County except HHI and Dafuskie at 154.355
HHI and Dafuskie at 154.145
MCAS 140.625, operation are on their P-25
PI 142.075 with operations as listed for BC TRS

Georgetown - negative on rebanding.
Charleston - negative on the Palmetto 800 sites or the City of Charleston TRS (someone correct me if I'm wrong on that). Palmetto P25 (the P25 system used by Charleston County) is using rebanded frequencies, but since it's a P25 system, nothing special has to be set in your scanner to receive it.

You didn't specifically ask, but Horry County's TRS has not yet rebanded. Myrtle Beach's system has, but it's not clear what city agencies are using that system - FD and PD are on the Horry County system.

Hope that helps.

Beaufort County TRS has added the following freqencies to its trunked system. I assume it has to do with installing a P-25 System. Highest Freq still being heard is 857.4375, the six higher have not been heard in a week.
Search under call sign WNRA431
New: All heard.
854.3125
854.4375
854.7375
856.5875
856,6875
854.6125
For awhile there was a four channel P-25 up and running. It is gone for the time being. I wonder what is next.
