So I decided to update and rebuild & update my shack I will be adding new scanners and a third computer over the next few mouths I was hoping to have my scanners back from Texas after the scam but could not wait. I plan on getting 3 new 996xt's 2 bct15's and a psr900 (once they hit the stores) Next week I will be replacing the desk top and building cubbies for the scanner\radios (which my 6 year old wants to help with) Here is what I am starting with and will update as I go any suggestions or questions please feel free to let me know.

Hi Robert:

The shack looked pretty good in this pic, so we can't wait to see what the new setup will look like.

Good Luck with the upgrade and keep us posted.

The antenna mounted on the balconey looks good too, and if the apartment I live in had one, I would surely mount my Austin Ferret just like that. My Ferret isn't doing me any good sitting in the closet.

Robert-

I understand that GRE will be recommending that you should not use the new PSR-900 with Lite Beer... you've been warned. :p

BTW, nice shack!

I like everything in your pics but ...your taste of beer! :(
Lite beer is just wrong! Try a guiness black lager.
Oh, and the solar candles on your your balcony are a nice touch!

Thanks for all the remarks
first the antenna was bought off ebay and works great and was cheap here is the link Dual Band VHF/UHF (Ham, Commercial ,MURS and GMRS versions) Base Station Antenna | eBay

The third computer is going to be for programing of radios
1 computer for internet
1 computer for streaming
1 dual boot ms dos/windows xp for programing

the reason for the change is to make desk more usable when sitting at it top is going to be a little deeper monitors will be rasied to eye level with cubies for scanners along with antenna and power ports built in.
