Receive issue with Psr-500

Hello everyone I have a gre psr-500. I'm have receive issues. The scanner does not pick up the first part of transmission. I have a Pro- 2096 programmed the same way and its able to pick up everything. Both scanners are in same location for now and have same type of antenna. I was wondering maybe there is an expert setting that can be adjusted. Any help would be appreciated.

If it is a conventional channel, set the Sq Mode: for that channel to "CTCSS" and the CTCSS Hz: for that channel to "Search". This will prevent the scanner from looking for digital signals which cuts out the start of transmissions on conventional channels.

If this is happening on a trunked system then there is a slight possibility of a setting in the expert settings that could correct this.

If this is happening on standalone digital frequencies (i.e., P25) make sure to program each frequency as NAC and "Search" to prevent the scanner from spending time determining whether the signal is analog or digital.

Other than this, I'm not sure.
