Hi, Have had many scanners over the years and a few of the newer trunking versions by various manufacturers.
This is the first time I have ventured into the Whistler line up with the purchase of a WS-1088 recently.
I am in Central Ontario Can. and had things working just fine on local Fleetnet systems, analog fire and other systems. Recently some of our fire depts have changed over to DMR.
I programmed in the local fire that have changed to DMR by down loading the library updates in EZScan and also updated the information on the sd card. Now for some reason I pick up nothing on scanning the same systems as before? I get no Fleetnet calls ( I know they are transmitting as I can hear them on another scanner) and none of the DMR. ( I can hear them on another radio also) I do get the DMR digital sound on the previous fire frequency if I leave it on in analog mode?
The radio works fine if I hit the WX button and also if I enable scan list for aircraft on AM band it will pick that up just fine.
Any suggestions on what I may have turned on or off to cause this problem? Or what the problem may be if it is not the nut behind the keyboard,,,,lol
Thanks ,,,
