BC125AT: Receive Normal or a Defect?

I have a BC125AT new (not 30 days old).
I have a VFD with freq. 155.8800 (192.8), 15 miles away. And another VFD with freq. 155.8875 (192.8) about 30 miles away. The 155.8875 receive can be heard clearly on 155.8800. Is this normal for the BC125AT, or a defect?

It depends. Do you have it set to AUTO, NFM, FM, WFM, AM?

If it is public service then you'll want it set to NFM. If it is set to WFM then, yes that is normal that you might hear 155.8875 on 155.8800.

Check your settings and report back. Cheers.

It was set to AUTO. I will change it to NFM. Thank you for the response!
