Receive Range

Hello,

I was just wondering what mile range I should get with a standard
mobil scanner antenna in my window at home. I know there is not
a set size because of hills and trees and so on....

I receive from about 50 to 55 miles out right now, Less due east.

Line of sight and it depends.

So to any tower you can see and sometimes further or around mtns etc but that depends.

Yep. Tis ok, probably will continue to answer this question till the day they stop selling scanners and no one is ever new again. I think I'd rather answer the question a million times than not.
