Just received! Learning how to program. No problem with conventional systems having some problems with EDACS systems though. There is no Motorola in my area so I have to learn about EDACS systems. I'm sure with all of the videos on the Net there is probably one out there that will guide me through the process. As I acquaint myself with the radio and how to plug in everything in the proper places after awhile it should become easier.

Unlike Motorola and P25 systems, the order the frequencies are entered makes a difference. The 2 digit number to the left of each frequency is its LCN (Logical Channel Number). Enter all of the frequencies and LCN"s in the database in the order shown (not just control channels and alternates). Are you using programming software? Which systems do you want to monitor. The frequencies shown are for the Nevada Shared Radio System. Nevada Shared Radio System Trunking System, Various, Multi-State - Scanner Frequencies (radioreference.com) The BCT15X is analog only. You will not be able to monitor any digital conventional frequencies or trunked systems.
