Care to elaborate?
Mine would just sit there sometimes when I turned it on, I would turn it off then back on and it would start receiving.
This was a couple years ago, then it just went away, there was not an update and I didn't change anything.

I believe you are referring to what some are reporting as a loss of audio. The scanner continues to scan, stopping on busy channels/TG’s but there is no audio. Turning the scanner off and then back on brought it back to life.
To date, I haven’t heard anything about a fix, a recall or firmware update.

The OP’s question was vague. So I took a shot at the “no audio” issue (which has affected my two SDS200’s). What is a bit** session?
How occasional? What isn't received: TRS's? Conventional Objects? NOAA weather radio? All of the above? No info given will only garner more questions from the respondents
