As you may have noticed HF propagation is a bit lower. Not because of solar flux. Solar flux is still in the good range at 159sfu.
AR3229 fired off a S1 radiation level storm and a halo CME. On top of that a coronal hole has rotated in Earth strike zone with 764km/s (has waned to 680km/s) solar wind stream. The effects should wear off in a window of less than 5 Earth days. That is depending on AR3229 behavior as well as the other active regions. Aurora chasers will benefit from this solar storm event.
