It seems that about 6mo ago reception in Taney CO was significantly improved,
specifically Taney CO Sheriff, Hollister PD and MHP Troop D.
Starting about that time (about 6mo +) ago, Taney CO Sheriff is now heard on the
Hollister 700mhz site, and two other sites called “unknown”
Living in far SW Taney CO, I could not receive anything using the RS 800mhz antenna .
I can now!
And...I could only hear all three on one site: the Branson site.
I can only conclude that they are adding additional towers in areas where reception is very spotty
Or… Increasing the wattage of present towers for the Branson Site and adding them
to additional towers to increase coverage.
