Depends on the frequency and whether they are wet or dry. As long as there isn't metal foil under them you'll still get a reasonable amount of signal in most cases
Aluminum or steel siding on the attic wall exteriors will be a bigger problem than the roof. Same goes for foil backed sheathing used behind any siding.
