Morning All.

My mobile scanner antenna after many, many years of use, I had the whip snapped off. What antenna do you use and for your mobile scanner?

What would be considered a decent mobile antenna for a TRX-2.

Thanks!

The antenna is the most important part of your setup and getting a good one pays off in the long run.

You can't go wrong with these, and I've used both extensively on multiband mobile transceivers:
Running this one on my work truck:

Running this one on my personal truck:

If you don't need the spring base and want to save some money, this has received some excellent reviews and will likely outlast your car:

If you need a magnetic mount, pair it with a decent quality NMO mag mount with the correct connector to match your radio:

Thanks! I'll check them out.

There are few PDs still using VHF around me, but must are UHF trunked.

This is probably the best deal in a triband VHF/UHF/700/800 commercial mag mount antenna right now.
