Is there some nice and easy way to record audio from a BCT15?
I have tried bcTool, which works most of the time, but seems to cut off stuff.
XCorder and Vox2File seems to get the audio most of the time. Though I still seem to miss stuff even though it's held on one channel. Though normally it doesn't miss stuff but I notice it's hard to hear the very end of the file, it's like it's there, but cut off.
Also, always notice a hint of buzzing when I hook it up to my one computer.
I always thought recording from a scanner would be darn easy, but I seem to run in to problems here and there.
EDIT:Well now that I checked my XCorder and Vox2File logs on this computer, it seems that nothing is lost. On my other computer, if someone said, "Give me a radio check", it may record, "Give me a check". It just would randomly cut a word out. But on this PC it's fine. I guess I have to leave it on this PC for good recordings.
I just have to laugh because XCorder and Vox2File give the complete truth. I thought many channels were darn busy, but if you take out the dead space, you sometimes only get a 10 minute file for an hour, which is way less than what I thought those channels had for traffic.
