I have 3 Base scanners which I record the audio 24/7 to my server. One of them being my BCT15X, I have had problems lately with the BCT15X's green REC Port. I have an audio cable running from the BCT15X to my server directly and have been having problems trying to record scanner audio to my server.
A few weeks ago, I replaced the audio cable because I was not hearing audio on my server and then I got it working. But now this week I have had the same issue and trouble with the new audio cable. I can not hear the audio from my 15X in the recording and or if I try to listen to the 15X with my speakers.
I am beginning to think there is something wrong with the BCT15X itself and the REC port, I have tried every possible setting on my server to try and fix the audio with no luck. Is there a setting on the BCT15X itself that I can change to see if the REC port will work? or should I just consider contacting Uniden to see if I can send it back to see if they can fix it or just send me a new one? TIA
