ProScan: Recording Issues

No audio recorded, if someone else signs onto pc. everything gets logged and a file is created but it is blank.
Can anyone confirm this, or do you not have to share your computer.
I think it must be the primary sound capture device. Does anyone know how to get around this or do I need another pc?

I guess this is more of a computer question.

When you installed the software, did you select “everyone on this PC” or “just me” when prompted by Windows install (it is not specific to ProScan, it is a Windows procedure usually used on standard installs) ?

It may be obvious but, just in case : you do have an audio cable connected from the scanner to the PC ?

In the “Audio Control” tab of ProScan, check that your « primary sound capture » input is selected and that you see the waveform when the scanner has audio (do a test with a weather channel).

Always best to use a dedicated computer with one active user account for streaming & recording
