Recording Software 4 Computer

I like listening to a particular channel that is broadcast on the radio reference site. Is there some software that can record just the broadcasts and not all the dead air on my computer. It would be great to get home from work and listen to the days activity.

I know there a many freeware apps. that record streams, not sure about voice activated. In the wiki you will find several sound recording apps.

There are methods to send audio to your work comp. too. :twisted:

I use FairStars Recorder. I was using Absolute Sound Recorder but the option to split the files based on time never worked so I tried FairStars Recorder and am amazed. It supports all major audi formats like WAV,MP3,FLAC, and while not quite as popular WMA and OGG.
