I can't seem to start recording with siren app. Can I start recording with just the scanner and how do I do it?

It's clearly explained in the manual. Press Function, then the Replay/Record button, then Enter/Yes. The same sequence stops recording once it has started.

If you record or use the Replay feature, get a high-endurance card designed for dashcams and other applications that constantly write to the card. They will last longer before wearing out and causing card errors.
