• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

I recently recovered a Public Service radio. I am not sure if it is a stolen radio or how long it has been gone from Sanpete County. It is a Motorola Radius SP50+ 10 channel radio with a lapel mic. I am assuming that it belongs to an agency in Sanpete County. There is a distinguishing mark on the radio for anyone to easly identify it. There is also a paper taped to the front that lists the following channels:

1- Statewide
2- Sanpete
3- Fire
4- Nat. S&R
5- EMT Ops.
6- S&R repeater
7- EMS boarding ho.
8- ST.LD.cr-cr
9- Wt. Pines UHP
10- Gun. City

I would like to make sure it gets back to the proper agency. Anyone
with info please PM me.
Thanks, Brandon
