RED now has a new license (WQUF682) that points to how things might shape up after Park Ridge and Des Plaines joins.
155.7975, located at Lincolnwood and 155.4375 located at Des Plaines, will likely simulcast each other with an input of 153.8675.
This could portend to a realignment into North and South operations. If so Lincolnwood would likely join with Park Ridge and Des Plaines. I would think that North Maine, Niles and Morton Grove would probably go South also.
Other towns would likely stay on the 159.660 and 153.215 repeaters.
Again, this is only a guess at this point.
Park Ridge already uses RED numbering, Des Plaines will use Stations 61 62 and 63 for front line equipment and 64 and 65 for reserve.
PR and DP should be on line at RED sometime this year.
