Has anyone come up with a solution to programming the Red Deer trunked system?
What solution are you talking about? There is an issue with some scanners, mainly Uniden not able to scan the Red Deer trunked system. Radio Shack / GRE scanners seem to work just fine.

Last year I was out in Red Deer for a couple of days. I had a Uniden BCD396T, and a Radio Shack Pro-96 with me. The BCD396T wouldn't track the public safety radio system at all. The Pro-96 would only track the system after I used the radio's Zeromatic function to get the 12.5 khz offset, and then programming the offset into the radio, instead of the listed frequency.

I was hoping that a solution had been found for the Uniden radio. Would programing the Custom frequency table help with either radio? What settings would I need (Splinter, Table, or Multi-Table)?

I have not had a Uniden since the BC250D that worked on Red Deer, and I have never had a trunking RS/GRE scanner. (Not true - I did have a base station that used the same engine/guts as the BC235, but I never took it to Red Deer.)
