REE still S9+20dB on 9690kHz at 1400 local 0200 UTC on my JRC NRD 515 playing their interval chimes after 2 hours of Spanish speaking male and female - just gone off at 1403. Their transmitter site at Noblejas just west of Madrid is just about my 'antipode' so long path and short path drops into my backyard!

Indeed. Good antipodean signals on Sunday too. Here in Te Pahu I was listening to a ham working a contest from Madrid on 40M.

REE is pretty constant here in the afternoon & evenings. Don't speak a lick of Spanish but when did that ever matter.
