I've got these frequencies listed in my general allocation table:
(Each has a paired frequency in the 152MHz range of course)

157.740 Business Paging
157.770 Mobile Telephone Telco Mobile Ch. JL
157.800 Mobile Telephone Telco Mobile Ch. YL
.
.
.
158.070 Mobile Telephone Telco Mobile Ch. JR
158.100 Mobile Telephone Telco Paging
.
.
.
158.490 Mobile Telephone RCC Mobile Ch. 01
158.520 Mobile Telephone RCC Mobile Ch. 03
.
.
158.670 Mobile Telephone RCC Mobile Ch. 13
158.700 Mobile Telephone RCC Paging

Have these frequencies been lumped together and refarmed?
Are they strictly used for paging (data) now?

Yes, I still think they're being used only for their original purpose. If you tune through those ranges, all you'll hear is raw data noises & other annoying sounds :)
