Refining the G5 Codeplug - Scanning Only What I Ask It to

I have a knob position that is set as TG-Scan (not monitor).

I have populated it with a handful of talkgroups in the non-priority talk group list (E7).

When I set that position, in addition to the talkgroups I've asked for (which show up with their alias), I am also getting several talkgroups by TGID only.

I don't want it to do that, where should I start looking to make it stop? I am pretty sure these TG's aren't being dynamically... merged (I forget the term now).

Do you have the All Call TG 65535 programmed into the list?

G5 receiving talkgroup that is not in scan list.

This is a strange issue and we are having trouble identifying the cause so I am posting here to see if anyone else has ever had this happen and if so, what fix did you come up with. Multiple G5 pagers, all programmed with the same profile. Firmware varies across pagers from 1.3x to 2.04. So...

I updated the fw, so I can't say if it behaved this way on the older fw.

This is a moto system I am listening to. Don't think they are linked/patched. Different type of discussions on the groups, and they are in different... issued blocks (If that makes any sense)
