SDS100/SDS200: (refresh) SDS200 max SD card size ?

So I see some 2022 posts that 32 GB is "max supported" but 128 GB has worked for others.

Before I purchase a new SD card, mid-2024, any one having issues with larger cards? Is it safe to go bigger ?

I'd chime in with - why?
32G is enough to have huge favorite lists record weeks of audio.

I suppose if you just have one hanging around and need a card, sure, but if you are going to spend any money, get a 32G Endurance.

SDS scanners are equipped with the 20 year old SD card/drive technology, thus with larger cards, more FL and recordings the starting time gets longer. For faster start up ,future scanners will have SSD with no SD card to curtail the dreaded card failures.
In this case smaller card is more.

A blast from the past on replacement SD cards: Replacement SD Cards

These days SD cards are fairly inexpensive, so why not the larger size? (Probably the day will come when 4/8/16 might be tough to find).

32GB is the max. size mentioned on Uniden's website, for the 436HP, and SDS100. So, Logically that would mean the same for the 536HP, and the SDS200.
