We currently use a Regency Crystal FM Receiver - TM II (we can't tell the exact model number) to receive our tone outs and set off large air raid sirens on our stations. Our Dispatch center is going away from the VHF and will soon be doing strictly digital paging for tone outs.

This hurts us as most of our dept is volunteer and local and they rely on the sirens to alert them to calls. So I've found a device that will receive the digital page (EA-1 Nighthawk) and will then turn on a 110VAC outlet.. So my question is does anyone know this vintage piece of equipment? I'm trying to find out what the output is form it. There is a 110 VAC outlet on it and when our tones are received it then sends some type of signal (short?, one lead to ground?? no clue) to a large relay system that gets that signal and turn on the 220V siren.. we did some testing last night and it seems that there is always ~110 VAC on the output of the Receiver and when the tones were received it read "out of limits" on the meter but the output of the Regency Receiver states that it's only 110 out... any ideas?? Thanks!
