I realize this is a scanning forum but I'm hoping to find someone here with business band experience. I bought this radio at a bargain price but would like to program it myself instead of paying a radio shop. If it programs like the 256/1516 line I can handle it but I'm not going in with a ground jumper without some confirmation.

Thanks in advance

Chuck

And what was the answer? You might be able to help someone else with the same question.

Programming instructions

www.billscommsol.com has a lot of radio information and also does repairs/mods.

This is where I learned how to program my VHF but the first time I looked up the UHF I looked for the model name from the front instead of the model number from the bottom.

Another case of needing to be smarter than what you're working with.
