The RPS aircraft is a Cessna 182T and it's registration ID is C-GRPF. In the links you will see the video taken from this aircraft on April 7th at about 9:30 pm.
Flightradar24 shows this aircraft as a Cirrus SR22T and no other information on it is provided.
Flightradar24 history shows the Cirrus SR22T at an altitude of 3775 feet and just to the north of highways #6 and #734 traveling northwest at 9:27 pm on April 7th.

Flightradar24 doesn't do a very good job on tracking and identifying smaller aircraft. Quite often when you look on their map they, have no idea where a small plane is going or where it came from or what the callsign is.

Looking at the Transport Canada aircraft registration lookup site at CCAR Web - Quick Search It shows FR24 is wrong when it comes to the make. C-GRPF. is a Cessna not a Cirrus

I read the news article you included.. It would have been interesting to see how this part of the apprehension went. :)

"Police said the driver was arrested without any further incident, but the passenger refused to exit the vehicle and was safely apprehended with the assistance of a Police Service Dog".

BC_Scan, no I do not monitor AC band and I am too far away from Regina to monitor the RPS aircraft.

jwt873, as can be seen in the screenshots taken from Flightradar24 the first and second RPS aircraft flights on the evening of the seventh of April are both accurate and derailed, but for the aircraft's identity. Cheers.Flightradar24 RPS AC.pngFlightradar24 RPS AC 2nd.png

Has anyone tried ADSB Exchange to see what it reports?

Hi, harryshute

Yes, I am using both ADSB Exchange and Flightradar24 today. ADSB Exchange did not show the RPS aircraft but it did show the SPS aircraft.
Flightradar24 showed both SPS and RPS aircraft.
