Hello all! Was wondering if any of you have caught wind of an update to the apparatus numbering schemes in Region C? So far all I’ve heard is that the numbering for aerials will be changing from ###2 being any aerial and with ###5 being reserved for rescue aerials to ###2 being aerials between 55’ and 95’ while anything over 95’ will be changed to ###5. I think West County and Metro West have started this process as the old 3515 now goes by 3512 although it’s definitely a rescue aerial and 3312 now goes at 3315, as far as I know neither are new apparatus just a change in radio nomenclature.

Does anyone know if these are the only changes, and when they officially take effect? Thanks!
