You may not know it, but we have had a category in our collaboration section that is reserved just for documenting programming tricks that you need to use to properly copy a trunk system for some time; for example, for the Virginia STARS system, a special custom table is required for the PRO-96 and 2096. This category can be found here;

Category:Regional Programming - The RadioReference Wiki

If your system requires out of the ordinary programming in order to track it properly, please consider documenting it. New folks that were lucky enouigh to find new scanners in their Xmas stockings will benefit, as would old timers that have never been able to figure out how to copy their system. For some examples, see the Grundy County Illinois, Trunktrackers and STARS, and the West Virginia SIRN articles.

You know who to contact if you need help with it...TIA Mike

With the number of recent threads in the NJ area on programming the Wayne, Morris and Bergen County trunks, it's worth bumping this up.

Don't hesitate to yell if you want some help. Remember to include screen shots if possible. If you write such an article, then anytime that same question comes up again, you can simply point folks to it, instead of having the same thread endlessly repeated over and over and over....
