Does anyone know anything about current use of this 472.1250 MHz repeater? I have monitored traffic from Winthrop Harbor, Newport Township, and Gurnee bases and mobiles on here over the past few days. Long-time Lake County residents recognize these as "QUAD 1" departments typically using the non-repeated 154.3250 MHz QUAD 1 frequency and dispatched locally. There does not seem to be a central dispatch function, just repeated traffic.
