Remcs & Cencom Fire Disp

Looking for the freq that the fd are toned out by remcs and cencom

i know maplewood uses the umdnj remcs disp for fd

remcs i dont think dispatches fire depts. remcs stands for Regional Emergency Medical Communication System. hence why i dont think they dispatch fire depts. check the database for the info, also if you told us what depts your looking for dispatch freqs for that would help

I don't listen to them so I can't give you a frequency. JoeDisp can if he's around. But, I do know CenCom doesn't dispatch Maplewood any longer and am 99% REMCS does (Maplewood FD EMS and fire, both).

Remcs has dispatched Irvington FD for about the past 6+ months that I know of...there may be others too

Cencom dispatches Hillside, Roselle, and Sprinfield FDs on the respective departments' frequencies.

Both Irvington & Maplewood are dispatched through REMCS over their existing frequencies (the FD's, not REMCS freqs). I don't believe there is a separate tone-out for them, as they are paid departments and notified over the air.
