Does anyone remember what the model numbers were for some early(ish) scanners from Uniden; they were just boxes for the hard connections to be made, but the interface was all on the computer? I'm thinking they were (letters) then 100 and 1000. Ring any bells for anyone?

For a moment there I thought you meant the Optoelectronics Optocom, but then I saw the numbers and realized that you meant the Icoms.

All good answers and I would also add the Winradio's series called WR-1000, WR-1500 "E" or "I" for external or internal ... Here's the list of those model that existed (per year) and their replacement ... WiNRADiO Superseded Model Replacements

As Canadians, we could buy those model without any band blocked (i.e. cell band - remember those good ol' days when it what the analog era !!)

Just a stab in the dark......

I'm still looking for a copy of the DOS programm for the CP2100 (scanner1.bas per manual). I have one that is not very useful w/o it.

thanks
