Four years ago today, October 31, 2006, the city of Bowling Green lost one of it's own. Master Police Officer David Whitson, badge 179, gave his life protecting the citizens of this community while responding to a disturbance call. David, aka "Slim", enjoyed serving the citizens of Bowling Green and was proud to wear the blue uniform. I can tell you that as his supervisor, not a day goes by without remembering him. May he always rest in peace.
