Remote control possibilities

After readsing through all the threads and resposes in this and one
other forum , I have not seen anything about this.
Are Don or any other secondary software people working on a
remote control software for this scanner?
If so a GUI that would work via a computer screen would be cool.
Even cooler would be a trunker or treport style interface that would
give the radio/ controller/ talkgroup info and
also scan and give audio output.
Am I just dreaming or would this be possible with this rig.

We have all of that already. The radio comes with a demo application that gives you remote control. I think Don's Win500 also has a tab within the program to do so.

There's Pro96Com software that will do the "Trunker" like stuff already, including controlling a second scanner for audio.

And there's much more in the works.....
