Remote head kit for 796D / 785D

I'm looking to see if there are any remote head kits for the 796D or 785D. I see Scanner Master used to have one (at a way crazy price), but are no longer for sale (no wonder).

In lieu of no available kits, has anyone attempted this on their own?

Any info would be appreciated!

The ScannerMaster one was a crazy price because it was a very complex piece of equipment, and had some limitations. Frankly, you're better off considering a 996 and RH-96 and either selling the 796 for the cost of the SM remote head. That's what I ended up doing and I don't regret it for a minute.
