I am not sure if anything like this exists...
ICOM makes a scanner that is basically a box that connects to the PC with a USB cable and you get a virtual scanner on your screen.
Does anyone make such an item that uses a network cable? I know the GRE scanners can connect to a computer and you can then connect that computer over the Internet but that will not work in this situation.
