Hello All,
I recently purchased a UNIDEN SDS 200. I noticed it has a lan port on the front. And i have heard that you can stream from it remotely. Can you also program in remotely .. or through your home network without having to use the USB cable? And if so .. which programming software is the best for doing this.
Thanks very much for the help.

Yes with just the LAN/Ethernet port. The Favorites programming can be read and written to the scanner using the ProScan FTP functions. No need for the Micro USB cable unless using Sentinel. You will need Sentinel to update the scanner firmware, read & write profiles, and updating the whole database from the Uniden server. Not really any need to update the whole Uniden database since you are a Premium Subscriber. You can simply import from the RRDB into ProScan Favorites database.
