I'm looking for a remote-controlled TV antenna switch.
I have a VHF Yagi and a UHF Yagi mounted on an outside tripod. The feedline from each antenna connects to the inputs of a mast-mounted amplifier, and then a single coaxial cable comes into the house.
Since my location allows me to recieve TV stations in Chicago and South Bend perfectly (approx 90 degrees difference), what I want to do is mount a switch up on the mast that allows me to remotely choose which of two UHF antennas is connected to the mast-mounted amplifier. In other words, I will add a second UHF antenna and aim one at Chicago and the other at South Bend. I am trying to avoid using a rotor.
I have found remote-controlled TV antenna switches, but they are just a box that is located near the TV set and is controlled with a hand-held remote.
Any ideas?
Randy
