REMOVE UNWANTED TALKGROUPS

i configured my bc796d the way i wanted and now realize what all the "NEW" id's are, police. i programmed only fire talkgroups but the scanner automatically finds police tg's that share the frequency's. how do i stop the scanner from picking up unwanted tg's?

Put it in ID SCAN mode.

Or simply lock them out. Even in "ID Search" Mode it will ignore locked out talkgroups.
